Auckland gets a bad reputation for nightlife. It's not entirely fair. If you know where to look there's plenty happening after dark most nights of the week.
On any given night in Auckland you can find:
- Live music across venues big and small
- Comedy shows and theatre
- Night markets with cheap food
- Bars and cocktail spots across the city
- Late night dining across multiple cuisines
- Outdoor events and screenings in summer
The trick is knowing what's on before the night starts. Nobody wants to be standing on K Road at 9pm with no plan.
